We will meet with you to understand your aspirations for the search, including the capabilities, background and competencies of the desired executive. As we work together to determine the search’s priorities, we will also draft a role specification (position description) that encapsulates the key attributes and experience for the role, and includes a brief outline of your company and the role’s priorities.
We will work with you to determine the industries, companies and geographies where top talent resides, enhanced by our own market knowledge, to set our strategy on approaching the market. We will also create a Long List by relying on a parallel process of calling our sources, conducting desktop research and using other search technology. We will review this list of potential candidates with you.
We will call into the market, evaluate candidates relative to the role specification and test for their interest in the position.
We will rigorously assess the candidates and conduct competency-based interviews to examine their potential fit with your position description and organizational structure. From this, we will develop a short list of candidates for you to interview.
After we’ve prepared our detailed Candidate Assessment reports and applied our proprietary DeanThink scoring method to measure alignment with role, you will interview the top candidates. From here, you will select your preferred candidate to retain for the role.
Once you have selected your preferred candidate, we will conduct a detailed reference report and education verification on him/her. From there, we will also help you negotiate the terms of your offer agreement and, ultimately, close the search.
